WFAT-TV Johnstown "We're FAT!"

Before the era of cable and long before the internet, yinzers new Johnstown were limited to the major networks and a few independent broadcasters like WFAT-TV. WFAT started broadcasting in 1983 from a transmitter in atop Laurel Hill Mountain in Ligonier. The station offered a variety of syndicated programs like He-Man afterschools to movies in primetime. Sadly, the station went bankrupt and dark in 1988. This buttery soft, vintage inspired tee perfect for any yinzer who remembers the glory days and trying to tune in WFAT on some rabbit ears atop their TV.
