G.C. Murphy Company started in McKeesport, PA in 1906 and expanded to nearly 300 locations before closing in 1989. The Murphy's "Five and 10" was beloved institution for yinzers throughout Western Pennsylvania. Whether yinz ate at the lunch counter or bought your comic books and candy there, if yinz grew up near a Murphy's chances are you have a story to tell about why the store was special. This cozy, warm hoodie is a great way to celebrate some local history.
